Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Round House Theatre has prioritized the health and safety of our artists, audiences, students, and staff. As we navigate the return to live performances, we are actively monitoring conditions and recommendations from local and CDC officials and will continue to update our policies as circumstances require.

Face masks are no longer required for most performances

As of February 2023, Round House Theatre no longer requires that audience members wear masks for most performances in our theatre. Masks may be required for certain performances and for events in other Round House spaces, including our Event Room.

We continue to strongly recommend masks as the best way for individuals to protect themselves from COVID-19 and other seasonal viruses, and we ask our audience members to respect the choices of others.

2024-2025 Season: Masks are required for the following performances:

  • Sojourners: Oct 1, Oct 5 (matinee)
  • A Hanukkah Caro: Dec 10, Dec 14 (matinee)
  • What the Constitution Means to MeFeb 4, Feb 8 (matinee)
  • Bad Books: Apr 22, Apr 26 (matinee)
  • King JamesJune 17, June 21 (matinee)

Ventilation & Air Filtration

Round House’s air filtration systems, newly installed in the recent theatre renovation, feature new units and ductwork and meet CDC-recommended guidelines for air exchange and filtration and are serviced regularly. All systems are fitted with MERV-13 filters, and the new dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) was specifically chosen to utilize outside air ventilation for heating and cooling efficiency, with air exchange running 24/7 at occupancy levels.

Touchless Ticketing & Ticket Delivery

In order to minimize crowding in common areas, Round House  offers patrons the options of having their tickets mailed in advance (for orders up to three weeks before a show) or delivered via mobile device or to print at home. We also utilize touchless ticket scanners.
