Content Advisories

At Round House, we want patrons to feel informed and empowered about their theatre-going experiences, so we share content advisories for our upcoming productions. Content advisories are designed to provide advance knowledge of specific content that may be deemed sensitive or triggering for some patrons.

Please note that content advisories will be updated as necessary.

2026-2027 CONTENT ADVISORIES: 

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom contains profanity, racial slurs, and sexual content. 

Cult of Love contains profanity, depicts toxic family dynamics, and includes discussion of and references to homophobia, addiction, mental health crises, and miscarriage. 

Chinese Republicans contains profanity, racial slurs, discussion of racially motivated violence, and references to sexual assault and harassment. 

Baby Shower Katie contains profanity and references to pregnancy loss, infertility, addiction, and disordered eating. 

The White Chip contains profanity and the depiction of addiction, depression, and suicidal ideation.
