A Community Ticket Access Program

One of Round House Theatre’s deepest held values is to ensure our work is accessible to patrons of all ages, cultural backgrounds, economic groups, and physical ability. Our commitment to access has led to the development of more inclusive and diverse programming on and off stage, as well as recent improvements to our renovated facility. Our FREE PLAY program has already provided thousands of free tickets to high school and college students throughout the region. Now, we’re taking the next step to remove barriers that can make it difficult for some members of our community to experience our work.

ON THE HOUSE is a community ticket access program that provides complimentary group tickets to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and community-serving organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor who are interested in sharing the enjoyment of live theatre with their constituents.

Please email us at Community@RoundHouseTheatre.org with any questions.

Eligible nonprofit organizations that have an official presence in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington. DC may apply for tickets through Round House Theatre’s On the House community ticket access program.

  1. Fill out the online application completely before the deadline to request tickets for your group.
  2. Applications are reviewed by Round House Theatre staff. Approval will be determined by what is available at the time your application is reviewed.
  3. Tickets may be awarded on a rolling basis. Round House Theatre will email award recipients with show information and details on accessing their online tickets.

  • Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and community-serving organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor who have an official presence in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC may register and apply for tickets.
  • There is no limit on how many shows an organization can request tickets for in a given season.
  • Final ticket allotments may not drop below ten (10) tickets and 70% of an organization's final allotted tickets must be used in order to be considered for future awards.
  • On the House tickets may not be resold or used for auction items at fundraising events. Using tickets in this way is grounds for disqualification from the program. To request tickets for fundraising events, please email BoxOffice@RoundHouseTheatre.org.
  • Tickets may not be exchanged for a different date or show once awarded.
  • Any organization that is awarded tickets agrees to allow Round House Theatre use of their name for informational and granting purposes associated with the On the House program. Round House Theatre may solicit additional information and/or testimonials from award recipients.
