The Young Artist Performance Company (YAPC) is designed to introduce students to the process of rehearsing, designing, and performing. Students work as an ensemble to bring an established text to life. This class concludes with a performance for family and friends in our education center.
YAPC will be performing Margaret Cradmeier's Catalogue of Minor Yet Helpful Uncanny Abilities by Alan Haehnel. Margaret Cradmeier may not be the easiest person to get along with, but her message about people is ultimately hopeful: We do not need superheroes or magicians to accomplish the important tasks in life; we need people with “myhuas” (minor yet helpful uncanny abilities)!
